THIS year marks the 350th Anniversary of Drumbo Presbyterian
Church and celebrations to mark the event continue.
In 1655
the first Presbyterian Minister, the Rev. Henry Livingstone, was
ordained in Drumbo. Today Drumbo is a family centered church that
encourages every individual to grow closer to God. Our purpose
is "To reflect God's amazing love, to see everyone transformed
to fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ." Throughout the
remainder of 2005 Drumbo Presbyterian are planning a number of
events to celebrate this important milestone in the
congregation's life. These include a theme Service, Church
Family Weekend and Congregational Dinner. On Sunday, September
11 at 11.30 am we begin with a special Service of Thanksgiving.
Our guest speaker will be the Moderator of the General Assembly,
the Rev. Dr. Harry Uprichard. On Sunday evening at 6.30pm. a
week of Outreach, entitled 'Looking for Answers?' will commence.
Life is full of questions. We struggle with stress,
relation-ships, finance, identity, the future. Each evening
Trevor Matthews (Faith Mission) will explore the answers we
