Children enjoyed a fun-packed week at the Champions Holiday
Bible Club in Hillsborough Elim Pentecostal Church on Monday
22nd to Friday 26th August from 10.30am to 12.00 noon, with
certificates and medals for budding young champions. The theme
for the week was based on Hebrews 12 v 1-2: Let us run with
determination the race that lies before us. Let us keep our eyes
fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to
end.

archery, bouncy castle, bungee run, live band, stalls, tea and
coffee. The week of fun culminated on Friday and Saturday
evening with Live 2005, a live band event for young people of
secondary school age, held form eight to late, with a team of
talented young musicians from the church providing the praise.
The event, which was organised by Alistair Ritchie - Associate
Pastor, also included a well-choreographed dance routine by
Lee-Ann Cummins and Rebekah Platt.
The live band event brought to an end a
great week of fun, excitement, praise and Bible teaching at
Hillsborough Elim Pentecostal Church.
