A
TEAM of visitors from the United States spent this week helping
out at the Holiday Bible Club in First Lisburn Presbyterian
Church. The theme for the week was 'Bodybuilders' and in
keeping with the theme, the church hall depicted a gym and the
children enjoyed a host of activities that included Bible
stories, lively music, singing, games, sports, crafts and lots
of fun. Assisted by a team of leaders from the church, they
joined leader Matt Craig - Director of Youth Ministries at First
Lisburn, who co-ordinated the programme. The afternoon club,
which was attended by about 100 children, was held from Monday
August 15 - Friday August 19 from 1.00pm to 4.00pm with separate
programmes running simultaneously for P1 - P4 and P5 - P7.
There was also an evening programme for young people of
secondary school age.
