Children from Rushmore Estate had an incredible time at the
Salvation Army Holiday Bible Club entitled - Be Incredible.
The theme was based on using Jesus as our Super Hero, star and
best friend. In the words of their catchy theme chorus Jesus,
youre my Super Hero the children learnt that Jesus is better
than Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Yugiyo, Barbie and Actionman,
in fact, he is better than anyone. Led by John
Mclean (Captain) and his wife Kathryn (Cadet), assisted by
Heather Wright and Clare Chambers, the club was held from Monday
22nd to Friday 26th August from 10.30 am
to 12.15pm for children aged 7 - 12. The varied programme
included Bible Stories, lively singing, crafts, sports, quizzes,
games, movies, eats, drinks and lots of fun.
