Each Monday,
Thursday and Friday, St Pauls Parish Church Hall is used as a
Social Centre by Age Concern
for senior citizens in the area. A varied programme is
co-ordinated by Margaret Boyce assisted by Day Care workers -
Deborah Moffatt, Hilary Smyth and Erica Cromie. The senior
citizens are transported by Down Lisburn Trust buses and brought
to the hall where tea/coffee and biscuits are served at
10.30am. Following a variety of activities that include light
exercises, crafts, board games, knitting and quizzes, they break
for a two course lunch at 12.30pm and later at about 2.00pm for
tea/coffee and biscuits. After enjoying great fun, chat and
fellowship, they leave for home at 3.30pm.
