Hillhall Presbyterian Church on Sunday 11th
June.
Children�s and
Young People�s Day Services were held in Hillhall Presbyterian
Church on Sunday 11th June. At the morning
Children�s Day Service, the minister, the Rev Jack Richardson,
welcomed the congregation and gave the call to worship. Robert
Preshaw, Rosie Curry and Sarah Watt offered prayers; Kathryn
Campbell and Debbie Preshaw were storytellers; and Stephen Kerr
and Philip Poots narrated the Story of Jesus with Marcus Hart
and Alex Sleator as aliens. Summing up, the Rev Jack Richardson
brought the challenge of the life and death of Jesus before the
congregation.
At a Uniformed
Youth Service on Sunday evening, Largymore School Music Group
were the special guests. After the reception of colours, the
Rev Jack Richardson welcomed the congregation and the assistant
minister, the Rev Craig Wilson, gave the call to worship.
Stephen Kerr and Katherine Tolerton offered prayers; Emma and
Jonathan Gillespie read the Scripture lessons; the C.E. Singing
Group sang �In Christ Alone�; and David Beck spoke about what
Jesus means to him. In his address, guest speaker Jonathan Todd
spoke about - �Stepping Out in Faith�.
Following light
refreshments in the Church Hall, Russell Andrews gave a slide
presentation of Youth Service coverage in the congregation.
