The special guest speaker at a Youth Service in St. Pauls
Parish Church on Sunday evening 5th March 2006 was well-known
sports personality Roy Walker, now a leader with Crown Jesus
Ministries. Roy and Keith (Mitch) Mitchell - Evangelist
with Crown Jesus Ministries, spoke about the Street Reach
project which will be held in Lisburn on Thursday 20th -
Saturday 22nd April. In a challenging address to the
young people, Roy used his experience, as former Manager of
Crusaders Football Club to illustrate what the cross means for
us, indicating that it is a case of either Premier League or
Relegation. He said that what you need to play in the
Premier League is to: Define your Destiny; Listen to the
Manager (Jesus); Practice; Endure; Remember your Goals; and
Stay Disciplined.
