Senior members tea and Communion Service

Senior members of Railway Street Presbyterian Church enjoyed afternoon tea in the church hall on Sunday 28th May.  Organised by the Pastoral Care and Friendship Visitors team, the tea was followed by a Communion Service in the church, conducted by the Rev Bob Lockhart.  The minister, the Rev Brian Gibson welcomed the senior members and Mr Lockhart thanked the Pastoral Care and Friendship Visitors team for providing the tea saying that their work is very much appreciated.  Organist Bertha Cowan and the church choir led the praise; Jay Mateer sang the solo I Heard the Voice of Jesus say; Gordon Lindsay, Clerk of Session, read the Scripture lesson and Edith McConnell, a member of the Pastoral Care Team, offered one of the prayers.
