William and Sharyn MacKay will
tell of Sharyn's 'miraculous' cancer cure through
the power of prayer when they visit Dromore Elim
Church on Sunday. BL08502
A WOMAN diagnosed with terminal cancer almost
two years ago will bring the story of her healing through prayer
to Dromore Elim Church on Sunday (February 26).
Sharyn Mackey was told in April 2004 that she
was suffering from a rare and incurable form of cancer. Today
there is no sign of cancer in her body.
Until recently, Sharyn and her husband
William ministered in the Newcastle and Dundrum Methodist
Church.
Now the couple run a full-time Bangor-based
Healing and Evangelistic Ministry.
A spokesperson for Dromore Elim said of
Sunday's special evening healing service: "Sharyn will share her
story of how she has been miraculously healed from a rare and
incurable form of cancer.
"Having been told that this was terminal in
April 2004, she and her husband held on to the promises of God
in the Bible about the power of healing prayer.
"After much prayer, and despite her original
prognosis, Sharyn was subsequently told that her scans revealed
that there were no longer any traces of cancer in her body."
Since then Sharyn has shared her story in
healing meetings with thousands of people throughout the UK and
Ireland.
Among her television and radio appearances
were interviews on UTV Live and the Stephen Nolan Radio and
Television shows.
The Daily Mirror and Woman's Own magazine
also carried Sharyn's story over Christmas last year.
The spokesperson added: "All are welcome to
come to this special service at 6.30pm on Sunday February 26 and
further details can be seen on the web site
www.longlifeministries.org."
