Ten 10 Unplugged� a youth event for young
people age 11 plus was held in Sloan Street Presbyterian Church
hall last Friday night. Organised by the youth fellowship team
Ten 10, the event included - gunge tank, prizes, multimedia,
sketches and a challenging message. A Fun Day BBQ was held on
Saturday afternoon with football competitions; penalty shootout,
face painting, bouncy castle and also the FA Cup Final live on
the big screen. On Sunday evening �Revive� a multimedia
presentation of music, testimonies and life changing message
finished off the weekend of youth and family events. In an
interview with Stephen Halliday from Crown Jesus Ministries,
well-known sports personalities Michael Halliday - Glentoran FC
and Nathan McConnell - Cliftonville FC shared their stories
about how they came to faith. Guest speaker Alan McQuade from
Crown Jesus Ministries continued on the weekend football theme
in his address - �Playing by the rules�.
