A 'Fair for All' of antiques and collectables will be held in
the Parish Halls at St. Mark's Parish Church, Ballymacash on
Saturday 16th June from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The special day will
allow leading dealers to display their wares and items on
display may be purchased. Light refreshments will be available
throughout the day.
During the day, various public service agencies will be holding
exhibits in the grounds of the church, which will include the
P.S.N.I., Fire and Rescue Service, Territorial Army, Northern
Ireland Prison Service and Ambulance Service. The Ambulance
Service will bring along the original cardiac ambulance,
including the first defibrillator ever made.
This special 'Summer' fair at St. Mark's is a natural extension
of the idea of the annual St. Mark's Christmas Fair, which has
been a major community event for the North Lisburn area for over
thirty years. 'Fair for All' is being organised by St. Mark's
Social Events Committee; for further information contact Mr Ian
Hayden (Tel: 9267 5504) or Canon George Irwin (Tel: 9266 2393).
