This Saturday and Sunday, Elmwood Presbyterian Church will throw
open its doors to the whole Ballymacash community for its 2nd
Annual Community Weekend. A Fun Day will be held in the grounds
of the church on Saturday 26th May from 1.00pm to 4.00pm and
will feature fun attractions for all the family including bouncy
castles, face-painting, hair-braiding and games. A special
community morning service on Sunday 27th May at 11.30am will be
attended by several community representatives including the
Mayor - Councillor Trevor Lunn, who will read the Scripture
lesson. The speaker at the service will be Rev Andrew Thompson
and it is hoped that many involved in any aspect of local
community life will attend. Tea and coffee will be served after
the service providing the opportunity to meet, chat and make new
friends. An invitation is extended to everyone in the whole
Ballymacash community and beyond; you will be assured of a very
warm welcome.
