ECM, the European Christian Mission,
which is based in Ballymacoss Avenue in Lisburn, will be
holding its Autumn Conference on Saturday October 20 from
10.30am until 3pm at Trinity Methodist Church in Lisburn.
The conference will be an informative and
challenging day for all the family and lunch will be
provided.
Speaking at the conference will be Rev
Peter Fleming from 1st Coleraine Presbyterian Church, Dan
and Primrose Avila from Kosova and Jonathan and Nicola
McCracken. There will also be updates on the work of the ECM
summer teams.
European Christian Mission has a team of
over 200 Christians from around the world who work to
establish new churches in Europe and help existing churches
to develop and reach out to local communities. Recently an
all ages interdenominational ECM Mission team spent two
weeks in Peja in Kosova participating in different
ministries alongside the ECM Missionary team of Gani and
Adile Smolica and Primrose and Dan Avila, who will be
speaking at the Autumn Conference.
Primrose and Dan, from Carlow Presbyterian Church, are
currently working with ECM in Peja, Kosova, They are
responsible for the short term teams that visit during the
year and are involved in many ministries, including teaching
English, kids clubs, Bible studies, preschool, youth groups
and leadership roles within the local church.
