Lisburn Ablaze!

L to R: Pastor Brian Agnew (Kingdom Life), Pastor Nick Serb (Mount Zion), Pastor Norman Christie (Lisburn Elim) and the Rev Andrew Thompson (Elmwood) were the speakers at ?Lisburn Ablaze? in the Kingdom Life City Church last Monday night (5th November). At ?Lisburn Ablaze? in Kingdom Life City Church last Monday night (5th November) Brian Agnew?s mother Ella Mae joined him in wishing his wife Mary a happy birthday. Luckily Brian didn?t put all 50 candles on Mary?s cake or we definitely would have seen ?Lisburn Ablaze?.

At 'Lisburn Ablaze' in Kingdom Life City Church last Monday night (5th November) Brian Agnew's mother Ella Mae joined him in wishing his wife Mary a happy birthday. Luckily Brian didn't put all 50 candles on Mary's cake or we definitely would have seen 'Lisburn Ablaze'.

'Lisburn Ablaze' organised by representatives from some of our local churches was held in the Kingdom Life City Church last Monday night (5th November), appropriately - Bonfire Night. The programme for the evening provided an opportunity for the people of Lisburn to unite for worship and prayer for our city.

In the introduction reference was made to the 300th anniversary of the great fire of Lisburn and the desire was expressed that in 2007 the flame of God's glory would be fanned and the city set on fire for Him. Short talks were given on the theme of fire as recorded in the Bible; Pastor Brian Agnew (Kingdom Life) spoke on the topic 'The power of the presence'; Pastor Nick Serb (Mount Zion) spoke on the topic 'The power of purity'; Pastor Norman Christie (Lisburn Elim) spoke on the topic 'The power of prayer': and the Rev Andrew Thompson (Elmwood) spoke on the topic 'The power of Pentecost'.

It is anticipated that the next 'Lisburn Ablaze' will be held in the spring of 2008.
