Barbeque to support Hillsborough team's missionary outreach in Malawi

Members of Hillsborough Presbyterian Church Young Adults Group (YAG) held a fundraising Barbeque last Friday evening (25th May) to support fifteen members of the church who are going on a fifteen-day missionary outreach to Malawi on 13th July. Lisburn Saxophone Ensemble under the musical direction of Victor Currie provided the music entertainment during the evening.

The Hillsborough team comprising of - Kathryn McCrossan, Claire Warnock, Richard Jess, Andrew Fitzpatrick, Derek McClelland, Jane McKibben, David McMullan, Andrew Gardner, Emma Skelton, Jill Dornan, Louise Lemon and Chris Scott and leaders Lisa McClelland, Pamela Gourley and Jenny Hicks will be working with Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-denominational Christian charity dedicated to eliminating poverty housing worldwide which builds and renovates simple, decent homes with the help of homeowner families, through volunteer labour and donations of money and materials.
