As
part of the ongoing celebrations marking 100 years of Scouting,
Lisburn and District Scouts will hold a 'District Sunrise
Ceremony' at the Sunken Garden, Market Square, Lisburn on
Wednesday 1st August at 8.00am. District leaders are requesting
a large attendance for the service and all Scout Section/Groups,
in full uniform, are asked to be in place for 7.45am. The
ceremony will start at 8.00am and will be over at 8.15am.
Attending the service will be a number of former scouts,
scouters and current members of the Arrowhead (retired scouters
association) all of whom will be returning to their District to
renew their promise.
Following the service, a light breakfast including tea/coffee,
toast etc. will be available in First Lisburn Presbyterian
Church.
