Following
on from the success of a recently-launched recipe book 'The Real
Way to Cook', the Railway Street Presbyterian Church fundraising
team is holding a Summer Fair in the Lecture Hall on Saturday
2nd June from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. The event, which is open to
everyone, is being held to raise funds for the refurbishment of
the church building.
Church members of all ages are coming together to enjoy what
will be a fun day for all the family. Stalls will include
jewellery, home baking, woodwork, plants, flower arrangements,
hanging baskets, fudge, jam, garden produce, makeovers,
portraits and 'one more chance' clothes. There will be balloons,
balloon modelling and face painting for the children and even
the family car can benefit from the car wash.
Morning tea and coffee will be available and homemade soup will
be served over the lunch hour. The fundraising team is looking
forward to welcoming family and friends of church members as
well as people from the wider community.
