Women's Institute is picturing conferring honorary
membership on Betty Totten, their longest serving
member, who has been a member of Magheragall WI for 53
years. The presentation, which was made at their monthly
meeting in Low Quarter Orange Hall last Thursday evening
(10th April), was part of the branch's 60th anniversary
celebrations. Included in the photo are Betty's daughter

The 60th anniversary celebrations of Magheragall Women's
Institute continued last Thursday evening (10th April) when at
their monthly meeting, a presentation was made to their longest
serving member. Gertie Reid (President), on behalf of the
Federation of Women's Institute of Northern Ireland (Magheragall
Institute) had pleasure in conferring honorary membership on
Betty Totten, who has been a member of Magheragall WI for 53
years.
The 60th anniversary of Magheragall Women's Institute was
celebrated on Thursday 13th March when 48 members and guests
enjoyed the Anniversary Dinner in Dunmurry Golf Club. The
celebrations continue on Thursday 8th May when they will host a
musical evening in the Island Centre, Lisburn featuring Banter.
