The Rev Ed McDade is the new minister of Broomhedge, Magheragall
and Trinity Methodist. He succeeds the Rev Clive Webster, who
preached his final sermon as minister of his Lisburn charge at a
farewell service in Trinity Methodist Church on Sunday evening
29th June.
In 1988, Mr McDade was ordained at the Methodist Conference in
Dublin and prior to coming to Lisburn he was minister of
Cullybackey Methodist Church (2001-2008), Pettigo and
Irvinestown (1996-2001), Portrush and Portstewart and also
University Chaplaincy (1991-1996) and Rathcoole (1987-1991).
He is married to Heather, a Practice Nurse in Portglenone.
Mr McDade commenced his ministry at Broomhedge, Magheragall and
Trinity on Sunday 13th July.
