Arts Minister Edwin Poots MLA launches fine Irish art website

Minister of Culture, Arts and Leisure Alderman, Edwin Poots MLA launched a website entitled 'Gerry's Fine Irish Art' in the Island Art Centre, Lisburn, last Friday morning (2nd May). In launching the site Mr Poots said, 'Fine art brings great pleasure and satisfaction to the art connoisseur' and quoting the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson he continued, 'Light is the first of painters. There is no object so foul that intense light will not make it beautiful'.

In a statement, the proprietor, the Rev David McLaughlin (Minister of Carryduff Free Presbyterian Church) said, 'Have you been decorating recently?
