Crawford welcomes the Moderator of
the General Assembly, The Rt Rev Dr
Donald Patton, his Wife Florence and the
Moderator of Dromore Presbytery, the
Rev David Porter (Minister of Second
Dromara Presbyterian Church) to the
Lagan Valley Island where he hosted
a reception in the Mayor�s Parlour
last Tuesday afternoon (4th
November).
During a busy week from Sunday 2nd November to Sunday 9th
November, The Rt Rev Dr Donald Patton, Moderator of the
General Assembly conducted a series of services and visits
within the Dromore Presbytery. The Moderator�s week of
engagements included:
Sunday 2nd November
Morning: Harvest Thanksgiving Service at First Dromore
Presbyterian Church.
Evening: Second Dromara Presbyterian Church.
Tuesday 4th November
Morning: Visit to Lagan Valley Hospital.
Afternoon: Visit to Lisburn Civic Centre and meeting with
the Mayor.
Evening: Meeting of Dromore Presbytery in Railway Street
Presbyterian Church.
Wednesday 5th November
Afternoon: Agricultural visits.
Thursday 6th November
Morning: Harmony Hill Primary and Wallace High School.
Afternoon: Dromore High School.
Evening: Tea with ministers and wives at Hillsborough
Presbyterian Church.
The Moderator�s busy week concludes on Sunday (9th November)
when he will attend the Act of Remembrance at Lisburn War
Memorial on Sunday morning followed by morning worship in
First Lisburn Presbyterian Church at 11.30am and evening
worship at a United Service in Railway Street Presbyterian
Church at 6.30pm.
