The recent Music in May Concerts held in Christ Church were attended by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor and over 200 visitors each week. In this the third year of these successful concerts, the artists were: Tuesday 13th May - The Junior Choir of Methodist College, Belfast (Former BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year); Tuesday 20th May - Jenny Heaney (Flute) and Ruth McGinley (Piano); and Tuesday 27th May - Hayley Howe (Soprano/Violin) and Richard Yarr (Organ).
