Two new priests for the Lisburn area of Connor Diocese were
ordained at a service held in St James� Parish Church, Belfast,
on Monday June 9. The St Columba�s Day Ordination was conducted
by the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, Bishop of Connor.
The two Lisburn area candidates were the Rev Kenneth Gamble in
the Non-Stipendary Ministry for the curacy of Ballymacash and
the Rev Mark Reid in the Non Stipendary Ministry for the curacy
of Glenavy. Also ordained were the Rev Barry Forde for the
curacy of Coleraine; the Rev Campbell Dixon in the Non-Stipendary
Ministry for the curacy of Jordanstown and the Rev John McClure
in the Non-Stipendary Ministry for the curacy of Skerry,
Rathcavan and Newtowncrommelin.
