The Mayor, Councillor James Tinsley and his wife Margaret.
Street Reach Lisburn 08 will be launched by the Right Worshipful
the Mayor, Councillor James Tinsley and his wife the Mayoress,
Mrs Margaret Tinsley at a major youth event next Saturday
evening (23rd February) at 7:45pm in Brownlee Primary School
(Wallace Avenue).
Organised annually by Lisburns Christian youth leaders, Street
Reach is now into its 3rd successful year. This years Street
Reach will be held during the Easter break, from Thursday 27th
to Saturday 29th March when young people will be serving 5 areas
around - Knockmore and Tonagh; Hillhall and Low Road; Lambeg;
Ballymacash and Lisburn City Centre. Once again they will be
involved in painting fences, tidying gardens, litter picking,
graffiti removal and all the usual Street Reach activities
including street parties, childrens clubs, games and creative
arts designed to demonstrate a practical display of Christian
love throughout our City.
Youth leaders and young people from all churches in the Lisburn
area are invited to attend the launch evening on Saturday night
to hear about the vision and plans of Street Reach Lisburn 08,
as well as pray for the city of Lisburn and worship God through
some incredible praise. During the evening, applicants (year
11+) will be encouraged to sign up for what is planned to be yet
another fantastic opportunity for young people to impact our
local community.
Make sure youre there
