Minister and young people take to Lisburn city centre to promote Hillhall’s new Christian youth event ‘Illuminate’
The Rev Paul Jamieson and young people from Hillhall Presbyterian Church took to Lisburn city centre on Saturday afternoon (28th February) to promote the church’s dynamic new Christian youth event ‘Illuminate’. While handing out promotional leaflets with the Scripture message “God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all” the young musicians entertained shoppers to a lively selection of Christian songs.
‘Illuminate’ which started last month has proved to be a great success. Designed for 11-18 year olds, the programme includes a live band, food, great fun and fellowship. So, if you are bored with your usual Saturday evening routine and would like to go somewhere different to meet new friends and be challenged - then perhaps ‘Illuminate’ is the place for you! The event, held on the last Saturday of every month from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, will continue on 28th March, 25th April, 30th May and 27th June. Why not come along - it would be great to see you there.
