Local sisters make history

Revd Lorraine Cappa, married to Rev Alan Capper, rector of Lisnaskea, was ordained deacon on Tuesday June 29 in St Columba's, Omagh, diocese of Derry' where she will serve as Curate Assistant.

Ordained

Joanne was ordained in 2003 in the diocese of Dromore.

The sisters grew up in Magheralin parish and both have a background in education: Lorraine taught Religious Education in England and then was a Librarian in Enniskillen Collegiate, whilst Joanne taught German and English in Limavady.
