Church of the Nazarene begins outreach programme

Church of the Nazarene THE Church of the Nazarene will begin its outreach programme at the start of next month.

The food and bible club started almost two years ago and children attending receive cereal, toast, pancakes and juice. After eating thy are fed from God's Word and learn of His love and plan for their lives.

This outreach ministry will begin next weekend with a 'Shake It Up Cafe', which will be held on Friday September 2 from 6.30pm until 8.30pm, on Saturday September 3 from 10am until 12noon and on Sunday September 4 from 9.45am until 10.45am.

Families in Lisburn are invited to bring their children along to this weekend of fun and discovery and to join the church family in worship on the Sunday, followed by lunch in the Sunday School Hall.

The church will also recommence their Mother and Toddler group on Monday mornings at 10am.
This has always proved very popular for mums, dads, grandparents and childminders, who bring their toddlers along for fun, play and a friendly chat with a cup of tea or coffee.

Silverliners, the church's ministry for those over 65, provides an afternoon meeting with visiting speakers and singers.

A time for tea and a biscuit gives the opportunity to meet new people and enjoy fellowship together.

Silverliners meets fortnightly on alternate Thursdays.

Sunday services begin with Sunday School/Food and Bible Club at 9.45am, morning worship at 11.30am and evening worship at 6.30pm.
A warm welcome and invitation is extended to all.
