THE Official Opening and Dedication of the Dunmurry Presbyterian Church and Hall complex took place on Saturday February 19.
The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, Rt Rev Dr. Norman Hamilton presided. Following a time of worship the Moderator officially Dedicated the Buildings, all furnishings and an area specially defined as a Memorial Garden, all to the Glory of God. The buildings which were officially opened stand at the Lisburn end of Kingsway Dunmurry.
The Congregation was pleased to welcome as a special guest the Deputy Mayor of Lisburn Councillor Brian Heading along with many invited guests and members of the Congregation.
Afternoon tea was served by the ladies of the congregation. This brings to fruition the work of a small building committee who have worked tirelessly over the past four years to bring a new place of worship to the community of Dunmurry.
