Irish Christian Endeavour President gets married
The marriage recently took place of Irish Christian Endeavour Union's President, Gillian Ferguson to Adrian Thompson from Ballywalter.
THE marriage has taken place in Carrickfergus' beautiful new Methodist Church of Irish Christian Endeavour Union's President, Gillian Ferguson to Adrian Thompson from Ballywalter. Gillian, who served as President of the East Antrim CE Union immediately prior to taking up the Irish position, is the elder daughter of former President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, the Rev Aian Ferguson and his wife, Joan while Adrian's parents are Mr. Norman and Mrs. Margaret Thompson. Gillian's parents are from Lisburn and both grandmothers still live here. The ceremony was performed by the bride's father, assisted by the Revs. David Campton and David Mullan.
