| BALLYMAVE Rural Education & Cultural Society 
				are holding their community festival at Brookhill and School 
				Lane, Magheragall next week. The Festival starts on Thursday 31 
				July at 7.30pm in Brookhill Orange Hall, Ballinderry Road, with 
				a talk about local hero of the Battle of Antrim Commodore 
				Watson, whose remains are in a vault in the grounds of 
				Magheragall Parish Church. Everyone will be made welcome and a light 
				supper will also be served. On Friday August 1 there will be an 
				exhibition by Lagan Valley Orange Historical Society and others 
				of local artefacts and photographs supplied by local people. This will also be in Brookhill Orange Hall 
				and will be open from 10.00am until 5.00pm. Again, everyone will be made welcome. From 8.00pm in the hall there will be an 
				evening of Ulster Scots and traditional Irish music by local 
				group Nifty. Supper will be served and everyone will be made 
				welcome. Tickets available at �5 per person. On Saturday August 2 there will be a "Fun 
				Day" commencing at 11.00am and finishing at 5.00pm. This will be held at School Lane, Magheragall 
				and the usual inflatable fun and games will be available. There 
				will also be "Musical Workshops" involving bagpipes, drums, 
				Lambeg drums, accordions etc. Blaris Accordion, Magheragall Pipe 
				and Sir George White Flute Bands will be playing at various 
				stages throughout the afternoon. There will also be a Lambeg 
				Drumming competition commencing at 4.00pm in Brookhill Hall. 
				There will be something to interest everyone attending. The Finale of the Festival will be a Country 
				& Western BBQ and Dance commencing at 8.00pm and finishing at 
				11.30pm. Music will be supplied by AB Sound and again admission
