LOCAL couple Eric and Mabel Irwin from Lisburn celebrated their Diamond Anniversary on December 27 with a present from the Queen.

The couple from Donard Drive, Lisburn received a 60th Anniversary Card from the Queen.

The couple were married in Christ Church Lisburn in 1948 and went on honeymoon to Dublin.
