HUNDREDS of young young people, including many from Lisburn, attended the Army Career Exhibition at Kinnegar Barracks, Holywood recently.
All the major Corps, Irish Regiments and some of the Army's major equipment, the Titan, the Trojan, the Gazelle and Challenger II were present.
Some 1700 young adults from 30 schools, including South Eastern Regional College in Lisburn and Dunmurry High School, attended the exhibition on Thursday and Friday. A careers teacher said: "This is one of the many careers that we introduce our fifth formers to, it is part of the educational scheme, 'learning for life and work'. These young men really enjoy this day out, as the Army has such an array of different skills and jobs."
