JENNY MONROE

ANYA
Garland,15, is a pupil at Malone College. She recently spent
a week of work experience at the Ulster Star as she would
like to pursue a career as a journalist.
What do you like doing on your day off?
I like going out with friends and then going shop Ding on my
days off.
If you were to choose your favourite meal
what mould it be, where and why?
I love Italian food and particularly like Lasagne. I don't
have a favourite restaurant but do enjoy going to places
which make great Italian dishes.
What has been your proudest moment?
I am proud of a poem I wrote which was published when I was
at Primary School.
What was the most frightening moment of
your life?
When I was 11 I was in a car crash which was really scary.
How would you describe your taste in
clothes What's the most you ever spent on a single item?
Casual and comfortable. I once spent �100 on a pair of
jeans.
What would you do if you won a million
pounds?
I would definitely go shopping.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
When I fell asleep in class and was woken up by my teacher.
What music do you like?
Snow Patrol and Oasis are my favourite bands.
What sports person do you most admire?
I can't think of any sports people. My mind has gone blank.
Describe your best ever holiday. What
would your dream holiday be?
My best ever holiday was last year when I went on a school
trip to London. My dream holiday would be to go to New York.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To become a journalist.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity
whom would you choose?
Johnny Depp.
If you were stranded on a desert island
what three things would you want with you?
MP3 player, magazines and my mobile phone.
