					 Q&A

					 DAWN
Patton, 26, is playing Reno Sweeney in Lisnagarvey Operatic
					Society's 50th anniversary performance ' Anything Goes',
which opens on April 24. She loves ballet and singing and as
well as acting she works as an Account Manager for an
					Advertising Agency in Belfast.
What do you like doing on your day
					off?
Relaxing with family and friends, enjoying a good bottle of
					Chablis.
If you were to choose your favourite
meal what would it be, where and why?
I suppose I should say Aldens or Roscoff, which are both
lovely, but if truth be told, I would rather be at Papa and
Gran's house, with my feet up eating a bowl of Gran's
					delicious Irish Stew.
What has been your proudest moment?

Graduating from University. My Mum, Dad, Gran and Papa all
came over to Glasgow to see me graduate - all the hard work
					paid off.
What was your most frightening moment?
When I was working in the U.S.A I flew into Dallas on a late
evening flight. I arrived at the car rental section where I
realised to my horror that I had lost my driving licence
somewhere between California and Texas. I thought they
weren't going to lend me a car and I'd have to sleep on the
cold floor of the terminal - thank goodness they took pity
					on me.
How would you describe your taste in
					clothes?
Quite classic, although I love quirky accessories,
especially shoes and handbags. I spent 500 on a Gucci
handbag once - I know a disgrace, but it was a 'she's gotta
					have it moment'.
What would you do if you won a
					million?
Travel more! I would book a round the world trip.
					What was your most embarrassing
					moment?
There are too many to mention. Story of my life.
					What music do you like?
I have a very eclectic taste in music. My dad Ken,
introduced me to everything from jazz such as Nina Simone
and Billy Holiday through to Bob Dylan, Kinks, Beatles and
Janis Joplin. I was brought up singing 'Like a Rolling
					Stone' and 'Norwegian Wood'.
What sports person do you most admire?

					My boyfriend.
					Describe your best ever holiday.
My best was a family holiday in Vancouver back in 2003.
I had just finished my study abroad year at the University
of South Carolina, and I flew up to Canada to meet my Mum
and Dad, who I hadn't seen in months. I have always wanted
to go to Dubai, I am heading at the end of April, so I hope
					it lives up to expectations.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To sing a Peggy Lee classic with a feather boa in hand,
on top of an ebony Grand Piano in the Royal Albert Hall.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity
					whom would you choose?
I would have loved to have met the late Billie Holiday,
a talented woman who led such a colourful life.
If you were stranded on a desert island
what three things would you want with you?
A mobile phone with good reception to phone for help,
makeup - you never know if a handsome Man Friday is stranded
there too, picture of my Mum, that would cheer me up if I
					was down.
