					 Q&A

LISBURN actor Dean Johnson, 14, has been selected to attend
a workshop with Youth Music Theatre:UK in Scotland. He will
be performing 'Grease' with Belvoir Players Amateur
Dramatics Society in June. The Methodist College pupil loves
					singing, acting, writing and directing.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Sleep. Well usually I'd have a lie In and then I would
go and have fun with my friends.
If you were to choose your favourite meal
what would it be, where and why?
Probably spare ribs from 'Silver City' because it's great.
What has been your proudest moment?
I guess I always have a reason to be proud because I have a
very loving family, but a highlight has got to be being
accepted for YMT:UK, which in theatre is a good achievement.
What was the most frightening moment of
					your life?
My dad driving a Land Rover on a four foot wide road in
Cyprus. There was a ditch on one side, and a great big fall
to the bottom of the other - very scary.
How would you describe your taste in
					clothes?
I like to wear what suits me and I wear a lot of sports tops
but at the same time I also like to wear some nice clothes -
nothing too dear though. because I think fashion is what you
like rather then what you paid for it. I think I paid 50 on
a pair of jeans one time.
What would you do if you won a million
					pounds?
I'd spend half a million on a house, 250,000 on some treats
for me and the rest I would save. What was your most
embarrassing moment? I guess my life is filled with
embarrassing moments, so I couldn't really pick one out.
					What music do you like?
I'm an all-rounder. Mostly into Indie Rock and Alternative
but I also like Classical, Rap, Heavy Metal. I enjoy
					Stereophonics and Muse.
What sports person do you most admire?
Jamie Carragher for Liverpool. Being a defender and
Liverpool fan myself, I guess I just can't find fault with
the guy. In Rugby it would have to be David Wallace, again I
play the same position and I just admire his determination.
					Describe your best ever holiday.
I would love to go to New Zealand for two months. My
favourite holiday has to be when we went to Florida. It was
so much fun - I don't think anybody could ever get too old
					for Disney or Sea World.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
I would Love to play Mickey in Blood Brothers.. especially
if I was in the West End doing it.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity
					whom would you choose?
Morgan Freeman, for me one of the best actors ever and It
has long been a dream of mine to meet him.
If you were stranded on a desert island
what three things would you want with you?
Laptop and probably my drama group and my mum. dad and cat .
Don't know where I'd be without these.

					FAVOURITE THINGS.....
