LAURA
Allison, 17, is a pupil at Friends' School Lisburn. The
Drumbo girl recently spent her work experience at the Star.
She is currently thinking about a career in Journalism or
Law.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Firstly I like to have a big lie-in then eat lots of
chocolate and ice-cream, before going out for the night with
friends.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would
it be, where and why?
At home eating my dad's home-made lasagne.
What has been your proudest moment?
Passing my GCSE's.
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
Collecting my exam results.
How would you describe your taste in clothes? What's
the most you ever spent on a single item?
It varies from day to day and depends on what mood I'm
in. I once spent over �100 on a dress.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Probably treat my friends and family and of course
myself. I would save some and give a bit to charity.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
When my mum brings up stories from when I was younger
like me falling into the Lagan or my invisible friend. I get
embarrassed.
What music do you like?
I like most music but am keen on rock and roll. If you
can dance to it, I like it.
What sports person do you most admire?
Lance Armstrong.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream
holiday be?
I enjoyed a family holiday to France six years ago. I
would love to go to Australia.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To be successful in whatever I do.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would
you choose?
Marilyn Monroe.
If you were stranded on a desert island what three
things would you want with you?
Ipod, photos of friends and family and my toothbrush.
