LYNDA
Gregg, 49, is a fully qualified Yoga/pilates fitness
instructor and runs classes in Lisburn Civic Centre. She
divides her time between her homes in Lisburn and Donegal
where she runs the Sankalpa yoga retreat centre overlooking
McSwynes Bay.
What do you like doing on your day off?
I like to have a relaxing day and enjoy lunch with
friends.
If you were to choose your favourite meal
what would it be, where and why?
I love Thai food - especially Thai green chicken curry.
There are several restaurants in Belfast that I enjoy going
to. The Fat Buddha is good.
What has been your proudest moment?
Winning the 'Women in Business' - Most enterprising
business award in 1997.
What was the most frightening moment of
your life?
Sailing on a rough sea in Malta - I didn't think we
would make it back to shore safely.
How would you describe your taste in
clothes?
My friends are always trying to dress me up as I've no
interest in clothes.
What would you do if you won a million
pounds?
I would see to my family and friends, give some to
charity and enjoy the rest.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
Arriving a day late at the airport with my family.
Luckily we got it sorted out without too much hassle.
What music do you like?
Eighties music and I like relaxing music too.
What sports person do you most admire?
Dame Mary Peters has been a great ambassador for
Northern Ireland.
Describe your best ever holiday. What
would your dream holiday be?
A family holiday to Florida was brilliant as I loved
seeing the enjoyment on my children's faces. A holiday with
family and friends anywhere would be great.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To open more holistic centres and continue to motivate
women.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity
whom would you choose?
I admire Hilary Clinton because of her drive and
ambition so I would choose her.
If you were stranded on a desert
island what three things would you want with you?
Mobile home, friends and family and my two dogs.
