MEGAN Boe,16, is a pupil at St. Patrick's High School. She lives in Lisburn with her family and spent a week at the Star to find out if she would like to work as a journalist.

What do you like doing on your day off?
I usually like to go shopping with a few of my friends, go for lunch and head out at night to the cinema or for something to eat or somewhere with my friends.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?
My favourite food would have to be BBQ Chicken Pizza from Pizza Hut because the pizza is just so nice.

What has been your proudest moment?
When I was asked by my aunt to be one of her bridesmaids on her wedding day.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?
When I was getting on a plane for the first time and I didn't know what to expect     it was only this year.

How would you describe your taste in clothes?
My taste in clothes is quite casual, but I do like to think that I have my own style as well as I am a person who wears what I want.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?
I would give some to charity, go out and buy myself a new set of clothes and shoes and go on holiday. I'd also do something crazy like splash out on a real expensive night out for my friends and family.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
I was in school going up the stairs and a lot of people were behind me when I tripped and fell and everyone saw me. It was really embarrassing at the time.

What music do you like?
I like a lot of different types of music, though at the moment I'm into indie and a bit of everything really.

What sports person do you most admire?
I admire David Beckham for his well known help for charity and I think he is a good role model.

Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
My best holiday was when I went to Belguim on a school trip two years ago with my classmates. It was the best experience of my life partly because it was my first time abroad. My dream holiday would be to New York or somewhere with great places to visit and a good atmosphere.

What is your greatest ambition?
To travel the world with my friends as I have only been to Spain and Belgium and I would like to see a lot more different countries.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
Someone funny like Peter Kay as he could make me laugh all day.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
Mobile, a friend and food.
