SARAH Graham, 17, a lower sixth student at Laurelhill Community College, spent a week at the Star on work experience. She is studying English literature, history and business.

What do you like doing on your day off?
I enjoy painting, reading and sketching in my spare time. I also like shopping and nights out with my friends.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be?
Chicken stir fry.. I love anything with chicken and noodles.

What has been your proudest moment?
So far I would say my GCSE results. My parents were really happy for me - ringing them on the phone to let them know how I'd done was brilliant. I couldn't wait to get home that day.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?
Probably the first time I went skiing. I remember standing at the top of the mountain really worried, it looked so high up. But it was great fun after the first few times - a real adrenaline rush.

How would you describe you taste in clothes?
Depends on my mood. ranging from retro to stylish. I'm really into maude clothes at the minute, and anything bright and colourful.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
Screaming in school, when one of my friends grabbed me from behind, in a room of about 80 people.

What music do you like?
Not really into one particular style of music. I really like the Scissor Sisters, Leo Sayer and anything up beat and original.

What sports person do you most admire
I don't really follow sport. but probably Paula Radcliffe because of her achievements.

Describe you best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
Going to Greece with my parents a couple of years ago was great. Everyone was so relaxed, and it was so beautiful out there. I would love to go back with my friends some day.

What is your greatest ambition?
To have a successful career that I enjoy and also to go travelling.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
Jake Shears - lead singer of the Scissor Sisters

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
Clothes, food and my boyfriend.
