SIMON Cunningham, 28, will play Dame Trott in the Lisnagarvey Operatic Society's production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, which takes to the stage at the Island Arts Centre in December. The local actor has recently returned to Lisburn after spending five years working in London.

What do you like doing on your day off?
I like to lie in bed until lunch time and then go shopping. I might read through scripts and cook dinner for my house mates.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?
My mum's home cooked Sunday roast dinner. She's the best cook in the world.

What has been your proudest moment?
Winning the category I entered at the Belfast Music Festival in 2000.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?
Finding a huge spider on my bed after I came home from holiday. I jumped off the bed so fast and nearly ran out of the house.

How would you describe your taste in clothes?
I like wearing smart casual clothes.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?
I would treat my family and friends to a big holiday - maybe a cruise.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
Whenever I forgot my words during a show. I just had to smile and improvise.

What music do you like?
I really like soundtracks, dance music and cheesy pop music.

What sports person do you most admire?
Torvill and Dean. I got to meet them recently, which was great.

Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
This year I had a fantastic holiday in Gran Canaria. I had a ball.

What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To perform at a Westend Show in London.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
Kylie Minogue.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
Mobile phone, sun cream and a case of wine.
