Jonathan
McKee, 20 is a Graphic Design student at the University of
Ulster. He enjoys painting and is currently exhibiting some
of his work at Castle Street gallery, Art Act. The
exhibition is heavily themed with the paintings based mainly
on a collection of bizarre cakes owned by the fictional Mrs.
Appelby.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Reading if its bad weather or else out and about with
friends if it's good.
If you were to choose your favourite meal
what would it be, where and why?
Steak, in a limo � because people are bound to love you
then.
What has been your proudest moment?
Probably being a top candidate in NI for Art and Design.
What was the most frightening moment of
your life?
Hurricane Charley, Friday August 13 2004 � I need say
nothing more.
How would you describe your taste in
clothes?
Very poor and heavily influenced by graphic design.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Book a seat on Virgin Galactic.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
In a play, someone didn't come on when they were
supposed to, so I had to improvise a speech for about five
minutes.
What music do you like?
Apart from Belle and Sebastian, most of it is 1960-1980
time frame, Beatles, Cream, Supertramp. I could go on.
What sports person do you most admire?
I'm not into sports though I do like Dame Kelly Holmes
and admired Jane Tomlinson too.
Describe your best ever holiday.
Driving on Interstate 80, coast to coast from New York to
San Francisco
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
Be part of the R.U.A annual exhibition, but I'm going to
have to work on that...

whom would you choose?
Bill Clinton
If you were stranded on a desert island
what three things would you want with you?
Pen, sketchpad and an ipod.
