Bernadette (Bernie) DavisonBernadette (Bernie) Davison, 51, runs Lir Amethyst Moon, a complementary therapy business with her business partner Anne Foley in Aghalee. She is a teacher, having worked in further education for many years, teaching ICT to adults.

What do you like doing on your day off?
1 love to read, and going to the cinema or theatre. Walking along the beach with the dogs is something I love to do. I find it very invigorating, helping me to clear the cobwebs from my mind and re ground.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?
Spaghetti Bolognese, in a perfect world a little restaurant in Padua, Italy. I love Italy. But here at home `The Villa Italia', in University Road, Belfast, the food, service and atmosphere is good.

What has been your proudest moment?
There have been many proud moments, generally associated with the birth of or the individual success of one of my children. I was very proud at the birth of my granddaughter. Proudest personally was when I qualified as a Crystal and Spiritual healer.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?
When I was a young woman I was involved in a car accident. I was quite badly hurt, but the accident and the aftermath appeared to me as happening in slow motion, I felt so totally out of control.

How would you describe your taste in clothes?
Smart casual. I dress smartly for work, but I do love loose fitting clothes; jeans or track suit bottoms.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Visit the crystal mines in Brazil.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
When I was young, around 11yrs, I was singing on stage in front of a large audience and I forgot the words.

What music do you like?
I like a mixture of music. I don't have a particular type. Depending on my mood, I would listen to country and western, or classical, folk, rock:

What sports person do you most admire?
I don't really follow sports and wouldn't have any particular sports person in mind.

Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
All my holidays over the years have been great, especially when the children were young. Recently though I have went to Italy and found that these have been the best holidays to date. My dream holiday has always been to go to Egypt to see the Pyramids and the Nile.

What is your greatest remaining ambition?
In a few years time open a school of complementary therapies.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
The person/celebrity I would like to spend a day with would be Hilary Clinton.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
Crystals, my Ipod and an assortment of books.
