Natalie Johnston, 28, Doagh near Templepatrick. Anorak Creatives is a young, forward-thinking design studio based at Lisburn enterprise Centre with her business partner Nuala Mclroy.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Usually I either
end up researching something about work on my mac at home or I go up to my
parents and help them decorate their new house or head out with them for the
day.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it
be, where and why?
Japanese at Zen Restaurant in Belfast. The most beautiful
food, and relaxing surroundings, I love it. Real quality and without a doubt
the best Cocktails I've ever tasted.
What has been your proudest moment?
To start my own business.
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
When my dad took a major heart attack and was saved just in
time.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
Individual, edgy, with a boyish slant but tasteful.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Give half to charity and sort out all my family and
friends with the rest of it.
What music do you like?
I actually love a bit of everything, from pop to rock,
quality house and trance, soppy stuff to wee bit of classical, hip hop to
electro and funky house.
What sports person do you most admire?
Mickey Harte, manager of Tyrone GAA. Not that I support
Tyrone, lets get that clear. I support Derry. But Mickey Harte is truly an
inspirational, very caring and modest man who talks total sense and is
someone to be admired. I could listen to him all day.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream
holiday be?
Best ever holiday was in San Francisco. I just love their laid
back Californian way of life, their food and their accents. Beautiful place
and so easy to navigate plus its full of unusual shops and places to go to.
Dream holiday at the moment is to go to Vegas.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
It is definitely to see my business become really successful so that I
can make my parents comfortable to pay them back for all the things they
have did for me in my life. That is the one thing I want most, to make them
comfortable.
If you were stranded on a desert island what three things
would you want with you?
My family (that includes my wee pet Yorkie), my partner
and my closest friends.
