Nicholas Salt, I5, from Maghaberry, is a GSCE student at Portadown Independent Christian School. He recently completed work experience at the Star. The young Christian is from a family of six boys. He likes football and supports Manchester United and Dungannon Swifts and is interested in becoming a journalist.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Relaxing, watching TV or going away with friends, go to a football match or
a walk, catching up on sleep.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it
be, where and why?
Massive beef dinner because it warms you up on a cold day and is a
traditional Northern Irish meal.
What has been your proudest moment?
When Northern Ireland beat England in football.
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
Nearly falling of a roof at a farm when I was younger.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
I like to wear something comfortable
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Invest some of if and buy a couple of really class cars give some to charity
and some to missionaries.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
Too many to remember.
What music do you like?
Christian music.
What sports person do you most admire?
Paul Scholes, the Manchester United footballer.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream
holiday be?
The Lake District when I was younger. The weather was great and was real
good fun with my family. My dream holiday would be on a ranch in America for
six months
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To do my best wherever I can.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you
choose?
Mr T - he's a legend.
If you were stranded on a desert island what three things
would you want with you?
Unlimited water, Bible and a toilet
