JAMIE Maginness, 15, from Lisburn is a pupil from Laurelhill Community College and recently spent a week on work experience at the Star.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be,
where and why?
My favourite meal is simply burgers and chips from McDonalds. I love
that they put two burgers in one which is why I love them so much.
What has been your proudest moment?
My proudest moment would have to be winning the yearly penalty
shoot out in my first year at Ballymacash or coming second in sports day
one year which for a me is a big achievement.
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
The frightening moment in my life must have been watching a
scary movie by myself with the lights off with lightening outside. It
was terrifying.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
My taste in clothes is mostly football tracksuits.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
If I won a million pounds I would buy my team Linfield and help
Rangers with their money problems. I would also buy myself a mansion.
What music do you hike?
I like all kinds of music, I love the Black Eyed Peas, Eminem
and all kinds of other bands, I really like R&B.
What sports person do you most admire?
I admire Steven Gerrard for all the things he has done for
Liverpool, like in 2005 he inspired Liverpool to win the champions
league from 3-0 down to AC Milan in the final.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream
holiday be?
My best ever holiday would have to be when we went to Portugal
with my family and friend. We stayed in a villa so had a huge swimming
pool and me and my friend had not seen each other in a while so we could
talk. The weather was very, very hot but with going out to restaurants
every night I was not complaining. This was also during World Cup 2010
so I got to watch Spain beat Holland in the final. My dream holiday
would have to be to go to Barcelona and visit the greatest football
stadium in the world.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
At this moment my ambition is to go to my first Liverpool match
as even though I am a loyal fan I have never been before. I would also
like to become a journalist.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you
choose?
I would have to say Michael McIntyre. I chose him as he is very
funny and would keep me laughing the whole day. He is also a football
fan so we could talk about football.
If you were stranded on a desert island what three things
would you want with you?
My TV, lots of bottles of coke and my Playstation.
