Sarah Crawford, 17, attends Hunter-house College and is studying for AS levels in Religious Studies and Applied Business. She recently spent a week at the Star seeing what working as a journalist is like.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Having movie nights with friends, going for coffee with mum, playing
with my cat and reading.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and
why?
I have lots of favourite meals however if I had to choose I would pick
my gran-dad's roast beef dinner complete with yorkshire puddings and
apple crumble for afters.
What has been your proudest moment?
It would have to be when I raised £700 for the MS society Northern
Ireland in 2010 by wearing my pyjamas to church.
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
A few weeks ago when I was in my driving lesson a pram was rolling down
the hill it suddenly hit the kerb and the baby fell out of the pram onto
the road. Thankfully all the cars stopped and the baby was ok.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
I would say casual I tend to wear a lot of scarves with my Converse and
skinny jeans.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
I would take my family on a big holiday possibly to New York at
Christmas time.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
My dad tends to embarrass me a lot. But when I was small I was out
shopping and my nappy was too big for me and it fell down.
What music do you like?
I like a little bit of everything. I tend to listen to Taylor Swift, Ed
Sheernan and Ellie Goulding
What sports person do you most admire?
I don't usually follow sports however I do like Tom Daley.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
I have a few favourite holidays although my best one would probably be
when all of our family went to Tenerife for a week. My dream holiday
would be for me, my mum and dad to go to New York and Alaska.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
I would have to say that my current ambition would be to do well in my A
levels.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
There are many however if I had to choose it would be Taylor Swift, I
went to see her last year in concert and thought she was amazing.
If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you
want with
you?
My iPhone, jaffa cakes and possibly some method of transport.
