OWING to a weather forecast predicting a wet afternoon - on Sunday, the venue for 'Praise in the Park' an afternoon of community worship, was changed from Wallace Park to Railway Street Presbyterian Church.
The service was led by the Rev Brian Anderson (Seymour Street Methodist) and a short address was given by the Rev Brian Gibson (Railway Street Presbyterian); the Rev Paul Dundas (Christ Church Parish), Evelyn Whyte (Deaconess, First Lisburn Presbyterian) and John Quigley (Lay Reader, Lisburn Cathedral) also took part.
Musicians from some of the city centre churches led the singing of familiar hymns and some of the more modern church praise.
