A Variety concert featuring Baillies Mills Accordion Band and home grown talent Noel Cairns, Jordan Humphries, Noel McMaster and Conal McCartney will be held in Railway Street Presbyterian Church on Thursday March 22 at 7.30pm.

Formed over 70 years ago, Baillies Mills Accordion Band has performed all over Ireland and as far away as Norway, while last year it was given the honour of leading the Battle of Flowers Parade in Jersey.

Karen Elliott, on behalf of Railway Street's Fundraising Committee, commented: "This year the band will be taking part in London's Lord Mayor's Parade, so we are honoured to have them perform for us here in Lisburn, along with other talented local artists including Noel McMaster of Bakerloo Junction and Conal McCartney who will perform a few songs from the new CD 'Made in Belfast' which is a tribute to the Titanic."

Tickets for the concert cost £10 (including supper) and are available from the Church office or at the door on the night. Everyone will be made most welcome. All proceeds are in aid of the church's refurbishment fund.
