Beth Stewart who is playing Dorothy in The Belfast School of Performing Arts production 'The Wiz.
A YOUNG girl from Hillsborough will join a cast of over 80 children from across Northern Ireland as she takes one of the leading roles in a full scale production of 'The Wiz'.
Beth Stewart aged 15 is taking part in the production being staged by Northern Ireland's newest leading theatre school for young people, The Belfast School of Performing Arts.
Singer, actor and all round performer, James Huish established the school in order to provide talented young people, aged 6 - 18, with the opportunity to dance, sing and act, learning from some of the finest experts in the business.
Beth, who will perform the part of Dorothy, is really excited about the performance.
She said: I'm in the school choir, but I've never done anything like this before. I joined the Belfast School of performing arts last year and I've been picked for one of the lead roles! I love coming to school on a Saturday morning and can't wait to get on the stage and see the reaction of the crowds — I hope they love it!"
