Jemima Brown (18) a senior student of Susan McMillan
18 YEAR old Jemima Brown danced her way into the history books when she became one of just two dancers from Northern Ireland to take part in the Cultural Olympiad ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Jemima, a senior student of the Susan McMillan
Dance School at Seymour Street Methodist Church Hall, successfully
auditioned for the 'U Dance Ensemble' at the Cultural Olympiad prior the
London 2012 Olympics. She was thrilled at the opportunity to work with
renowned choreographer Hofesch Shecter. Jemima has recently achieved her
Royal Academy of Dance Grade 8 and has gained
a place in the highly acclaimed London School of Contemporary Dance
(popularly known as 'The Place'). She is now in training for a three
year BA Hons in dance with the intention of becoming professional.
Jemima has been an asset to the School and will be greatly missed not
only as a teaching assistant but by the little dancers on Saturday
		mornings.
